Today, "Samel-90" AD hosted a visit from GERB leader Boyko Borisov, Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov, and the Mayor of Samokov Angel Dzhorgov. 

The delegation also included Deputy Minister of Defense Adelina Nikolova, Chief of Defense Admiral Emil Eftimov, and MP Valentin Milushev. 

Eng. Petar Georgiev pointed out that enterprises from the sector make a key contribution to the state budget and provide thousands of jobs. 

"The Bulgarian army must work with Bulgarian companies, because it is they who create the products, taxes and employment in our country," he said.

Minister Zapryanov added that in the coming weeks, concrete steps will be taken for more active participation of the Bulgarian industry in the European defense complex. 

During the visit, an upcoming meeting with the Union of the Bulgarian Defense Industry was also announced, aimed at deepening cooperation between the state, 
the army and industrial enterprises.
